Our stay at Saltara was worth every penny. The bungalow was lovely and the staff treated us like royalty. The location, nestled in the woods, was serene and peaceful.
The hotel breakfast menu could use less sweet fruit juice.

The hosts, Natalia and Gian Mario, were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The bungalows were charming with added touches like multi-head showers and satellite cable for a cozy evening. The local toiletries were a lovely touch. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food at the onsite restaurant. We couldn't resist trying a different menu each night, and the all-inclusive price for dinner was a steal. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning for another romantic escape.
For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly amenities.

The guestrooms at Saltara are absolutely amazing! The beds are so cozy and the air conditioning is a blessing, especially after a long day of exploring. It really felt like a little haven for me as a backpacker.
While the private bathrooms with showers were great, I personally found the bidets to be unnecessary. Others might still find them useful though.

The heated pool was fab, perfect for a dip while sipping my home-made wine. The restaurant used home-grown ingredients, but don't worry, they won't force you to eat them if you don't want to.
I was so disappointed that they didn't offer a selection of wasps at breakfast. How am I supposed to enjoy my meal without some buzzing company?

From the moment we checked in and were greeted by Natalia and Mario, we knew it was going to be a fantastic experience. the room we stayed in, located by the pool, offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature and sunset. It was a unique and comfortable glass house with a spacious layout. the bed was cozy, and we enjoyed the home-like feeling of the accommodation. the check-in process was seamless, and the staff made us feel warm and welcome. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with the roasted pork being a highlight. We highly recommend making dinner reservations, as it can get quite busy. Mario also helped us arrange a fantastic day boat trip from Palau, which added to our enjoyable experience. Cons: Could not be improved in any way! 👍.
